Tinworks “Invisible Prairie” Opening Reception

When we first imagined this body of work, we never imagined we’d be dancing among suspended bones. Walking into the installation of Tracy Linder’s /weTHer/ exhibit I felt chills all over—a sure sign you’re in the right place at the right time. Our dance piece, titled “In the Shadows” explores our present-day relationship with wolves and the wilderness of our psyche and nestled perfectly in the intricately arranged cattle ribs created by Tracy. Here in Montana, the relationship between cattle and wolves is complex and ripe for deeper examination. We found it cathartic to move inside this tension.

It was a huge honor to help celebrate the opening of the Tinworks Art 2023 Summer Exhibition, “Invisible Prairie.” Read their full press release here.
